Where Does the Money Go?

Proceeds from the Education & Outreach Auction support PLSO’s efforts to strengthen the future of the land surveying profession in Oregon.

Scholarships
PLSO scholarships help students pursue educational pathways leading to careers in land surveying. PLSO also offers the Pete Maring Scholarship as an educational benefit for eligible families of PLSO members.

Student & Career Outreach
PLSO introduces elementary, secondary and post-secondary students to surveying and the many career opportunities available within the profession.

Schools & Career Events
PLSO members and volunteers participate in school programs, career fairs and other events throughout Oregon, providing hands-on opportunities to learn about surveying.

Promoting the Profession
Education & Outreach funds help PLSO increase awareness of land surveying, support college surveying programs and provide resources that communicate the opportunities and responsibilities of a surveying career.
