Oregon PLS Exam Study Information

The PLSO and Oregon Young Surveyors Network (OrYSN) compiled study resources to help future Oregon Professional Surveyors prepare for the Oregon State-Specific PLS exam. The materials—recommended by recent test takers—include books and key documents, with selected PDFs organized below.

The exam is open book. At minimum, bring printed Statutes and Rules from the exam syllabus, the OCRS Manual, and reference materials such as the BLM Manual and a legal dictionary.

Registration is through OSBEELS. The exam is offered twice a year—visit the OSBEELS website for dates and details.
