SURVEY TECHNICIAN

Job Summary:

EGR & Associates, Inc. is seeking a survey technician to join our team of professionals. This position is as a member of our survey field crew. As an integral part of our field crew, you would assist in ensuring the accurate and timely collection of field data to support a variety of projects such as boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction layout. Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and efficient collection of field data
• Document field activities with accurate and professional notes
• Utilize various survey equipment, including robotic total stations, GPS, digital levels, and data collectors. (Leica)
• Research Survey and Deeds Records
• Field and Office calculations
• General maintenance of field equipment

Job Qualifications:

• Professional attitude and commitment to the survey profession
• Commitment to safety
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Associates Degree or higher with coursework in surveying desired.
• 2+ years of survey experience desired
• Land Surveying Intern (LSI) desired

Compensation: Compensation for this position will depend on applicant qualifications and experience. EGR provides paid holiday, vacation/leave time, health insurance stipend, retirement account contribution, and participation in our profit-sharing program.
