I’m pleased to announce that the Forest Service is now accepting applications through USA Jobs for two Land Surveyor positions; one in Wenatchee, WA and one in Oregon with possible duty stations of Roseburg, Medford, or Springfield.  Both positions are being advertised as part of the same vacancy announcement.

I’d appreciate it if you would distribute this notice to your networks and/or recently graduated students.

Minimum qualifications at the GS-5 level are a degree in Land Surveying/Civil Eng. with a Surveying emphasis, or a combination of relevant education & experience.  The GS-7, 9, and 11 level have additional qualification requirements.

Interested Applicants - You can view the announcement and apply here: https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/572214500.  Applications will be accepted June 30th to July 6th

    Some things to note:

    • Be sure to select all locations you may be interested in.
    • Be sure to attach all required documents to your application and compete the application in full.  Incomplete applications will not be considered.
    • Recruitment or Relocation Incentive may be authorized. Final determination will be made at the time of job offer.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the Region 6 Forest Service Lands team.  If you have any questions please reach out to me for the Wenatchee location and Michael Schulze (Michael.Schulze@usda.gov, 541-225-6474) for the Oregon locations.

    Thanks for your interest.
