ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: OFFICE
· Draw road maps and surveys using Carlson software
· Review survey maps for compliance with ORS
· Assist answering questions from the public
· Operate surveying equipment and process data
· Maintain and update software and equipment
· Update online surveys using ArcMap
· Develop and maintain effective, harmonious and reasonable work relationships with others
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Knowledge of methods, practices, techniques used in drafting and surveying. Coordinate geometry software using AutoCad, Carlson, Trimble Business Center and ArcMap. Considerable knowledge of algebra, geometry and trigonometry.
Three years of progressively responsible drafting experience which includes at least two years of experience working in a surveyor’s office and graduation from a two-year college with an Associate Degree in Cartography or Drafting; or any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience.
Possession of a valid Oregon Motor Vehicle Operator's License and an acceptable driving record.

SALARY RANGE: $5,088 - $6,500 monthly
