A Senior Land Surveyor who is interested in joining our Portland, OR team, with the potential of Survey Department Manager position.This is a great opportunity for someone that is motivated and looking for career growth. Our survey team is on the fore front of technology and looking for someone that will embrace this and help move our team forward.
The Project Surveyor will be responsible for managing and executing a variety of survey projects ranging from small site surveys to large transportation projects utilizing terrestrial, GPS, and emerging technology survey methods. Survey types may include boundary, topography, ALTA, right-of-way, railroad, port facilities, construction services and laser scanning or UAV surveys. Duties will include planning survey projects, directing field crews, and preparing reports and other deliverables. To accomplish this, the Surveyor must have a solid understanding of boundary, control, topographic surveying, and construction surveying principles. Strong written and oral communication skills with company staff, survey crews, project team members and clients. Ability to work independently, be flexible and adjust to changing project conditions and needs is a necessity.
