Back when the West was still wild and the rifle was the tool of choice for survival and frontier justice, the venerable .44-caliber helped settle the West by putting more meat on the table and outlaws in the ground than any other bullet.

Along with laboring six to seven days a week and walking up to 20-miles a day, surveyors dealt with not only dangerous attacks from strangers, but also wild animals, venomous snakes and serious accidents, though each hazard was understood as a normal part of the job.

The West may have been surveyed, tamed and fenced long ago, but its unbridled spirit lives on in this line of traditional big-bore Henry rifles - made right here in the USA.

The MSRP of this rifle is about $899.95, plus custom engraving is valued at over $200. Custom engraving will commemorate the 2018 PLSO conference. Profit from the raffle will be placed in the PLSO Scholarship Fund. Winner will be announced at the 2018 PLSO Education & Outreach, but attendance is not necessary to win. Winner must be 18 or older, and is eligible to claim the rifle after passing a background check. Winner pays $10 for background check.
