Oregon Tech Alumni Association: Land Surveying Workshop

The Oregon Tech Alumni Association and the Geomatics Program are proud to present the 1st Land Surveying Workshop since 2020, 17th offering to date. Proceeds from this workshop go directly to Surveying/Geomatics student programs. Join us for a day of Continuing Education. 

Topic: The execution of resurveys within the rectangular survey system. With emphases on the relationship of the 2009 Manual of Surveying Instructions to the practice of land surveying in Oregon. Topics to be discussed include effects of land status governing source of law; standard of evidence; coordi-nates as collateral evidence; closing corners; junior-senior corners; bona fide rights and good faith location; and water boundaries.

Costs:

This workshop will provide 8 professional development hours (PDH) Professionals holding a current CFedS Certification can register for 2 continuing education (CE) credits.

• Costs for Workshop: $150 per person
• Additional fee for CFedS CE: $70
