    Land Surveyor/ CAD Drafter

    Location: Lake Oswego, OR
    Pay: $95,000 – $120,000
    Schedule: Full-time

    Key Responsibilities:

    •   Plan, coordinate, and conduct boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction, and as-built surveys.
    • Prepare and certify plats, legal descriptions, and survey maps in accordance with ORS, OAR, & Oregon Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors (OSBEELS) regulations.
    • Supervise field crews and support staff; ensure the accuracy of data collected. (Occasional)

    • Use GPS, robotic total stations, and other modern survey equipment and software (AutoCAD Civil 3D).
    • Review and analyze survey data, maps, drawings, and legal documents to ensure project accuracy.
    • Collaborate with engineers, architects, planners, and clients on land development and infrastructure projects.
    • Perform quality control checks and ensure deliverables meet technical standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Oregon land use regulations, codes, and best practices.

    What You Need to Have:

    •  Demonstrated experience in surveying ( 2+ years of professional experience) with the ambition to work towards professional licensure.

    • Strong communication and drafting skills.
    • Leadership ability to manage field staff. 

    The Musts:

    • Ability to prepare and provide all necessary data for professional stamping.
    • Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D and Trimble softwares.
    • Professionalism in client-facing interactions.

    • Valid Oregon driver’s license

    Preferred:

    • Fully qualified Land Surveyor (LS/PLS).
    • Note: We are willing to consider and support a part-qualified candidate in obtaining full licensure. 
    • Experience with drone technology.
