Job Summary:

Larson & Associates is looking for a motivated Survey Field Technician who enjoys working outdoors, solving real-world problems, and contributing to projects that shape communities. Experience Level

• Entry-level candidates with related education or outdoor field experience are encouraged to apply.
• Previous surveying experience is preferred but not required.
• On-the-job training is available for motivated individuals.

Job Responsibilities:

·        Ensure accurate and comprehensive data acquisition.

·        Communicate with team members, clients, and the public.

·        Perform clear and concise field notes.

·        Ensure the maintenance of field equipment and vehicles.

·        Maintain high level of accuracy and completeness.

·        Operation of robotic total stations, GPS equipment, survey support equipment.

Job Qualifications:

·        Professional attitude and commitment to the survey profession.

·        Commitment to safety.

·        Ability to carry equipment and other supplies up to 50 lbs.

·        Ability to navigate all types of terrain in various weather conditions.

·        Ability to learn modern survey equipment such a robotic total stations, GPS and data collectors.

·        Ability to work together as part of a multidisciplinary team.

·        Good written and oral communication skills.

·        Ability to solve problems.

·        Valid driver’s License and clean driving record.
